Open Question: Theatre and movie help!!!?!??!!?

I want to be able to audition for closed casting calls at the age of 13. I have no agent and am trying very hard to find one that suits me in my area (oxford). I want to get more experienced in acting not become famous. My parent does not have a car so i can only go to places that trains or buses can reach. I really want to take my theatre experience further wether it will be on the cinemas or in a theatre. I believe i have enough confidence and skill to get into an agency.... iF I COULD FIND ONE!!! okay well a guy that i go to a youth club with has recently began to get closer to me, like the other day we went cinema together (he also invited my friends who are a couple and my sister!) whilst watching, he then started to caress my leg, then put his arm around me and leaned my head to his chest. i then held his hand which he rubbed :) (my first time!) and we went cinema again two days later (which i organised) and cuddled up together during the movie. but in general...we always fight! like play fight haha he loves teasing me, annoying me and likes the fact i fight back. it's been two days now and i havent spoken to him and he hasn't to me either...should i call him? drop call even lol thanks. yup he starts the fights...sometimes i do lool and he likes it when i fight back, he laughs a lot lool more

Ok, so Im 15 next month and i plan on seeing a cert 15 movie with my friend (who is also 15, he has valid ID). Thing is, the only ID i can take is an Under 11 Bus Pass which expired a few years ago. However, it still has my DOB on it, so could I use it as proof of age if they ask for ID? Thanks in advance. more

So theres girl her mum and my mum are like best friends. I've known her long. I've seen her alot more in the last few years and we were close and used to see her most weekends.We'd go cinema or something. She stayed at my house for a week cos she had some problems and she was upset so I used to be nice to her and be really comforting like a good friend.We did get in a few little arguments like we always do where she wants to do something but I don't . She wanted to go in the childrens area and I didn't as I'm 17 and there was only little kids there and she got all stroppy saying fine then I'm going home. Then later on we were watching a movie and she was texting for most of it, and would ask me whats going on.Half way through she asked me if she could use my phone to wake someone up she she could text them I refused and didn't and she kept asking and was like fine then if you just want to text I'm not watching this theres no point. The next day she used my phone the whole day when she was meant to be studying. Whenever were doing something she always seems busy like texting other people constantly its really annoying . She also used to ask to do my make and wouldn't stop asking even though I told her I don't like the way she does it. I haven't seen her in like 3 months now. I did text her once and she didn't reply and she texted me but she was asking about something and I was busy that day. But even when we do shes always like I haven't seen you for ages . When she always says too me she has to many friends and is always out in some area thats why I don't see you. Also that she has to copy the way her friends dress around me and different around others. She was a bit annoying at times I always had to walk her too the bus stop and she can be stubborn. I'm normally not busy and not doing anything don't know that many people. But I don't want a friend thats like that. Its been summer break for 3 months now haven't seen her once surely even one day she wouldn't be busy .One minute your there best friend you see them all the time the next you don't. Hi I was wondering if you could please possibly offer some advice. Two weeks ago I was introduced to a really nice guy via a mutual friend. We went out and spent the night together. The following day he told me he liked me and wanted to know if we could go out for dinner. So we met and went for dinner. Then he asked if I wanted to go out and see a movie in the week, so we went. Then on the day we went to the cinema he told me he was going away and if we could meet. So we met. (all in the same week) Right, so when we went for dinner and the movie everything was great. Real flirtation and an easy flow of conversation. However, on the day of the last meet up it felt different. Now, I'm a texter but I'm not an insane texter. So I would text him maybe once or twice a day and if he replied I would text back and there would be a flow texts. So I dont think I've been weird with over texting... So basically on the day he was leaving to go away I text him asking if we could meet up and go out for drinks when he gets back from his trip (my treat). He was not texting back so I told our mutual friend and she got him to text me back. He replied along the lines of 'its really nice of you to arrange a meet up but I am going home when I get back. I'm chuffed but I can not promise anything at this moment X'. So I'm a tad bit confused. I know that the day after he got back he had an important job interview. So maybe he was a little off during our final meet up because of this? Perhaps it was playing on his mind? He said he was worried about the interview during our meet up because he didnt know alot of info about the place he was interviewing at. Now, I really like this guy. So I thought to myself NOW I dont want to come across too clingy or too into him (although I had told him I liked him and had mentioned it in texts). Therefore, whilst he was away I didnt text or call. On the day of his interview I tried calling him. It went direct to voice mail (it didnt ring). So I thought ok, I'll leave it a few hours as he might not have signal. Very late into the day I called him once more and it rang but went to voice mail. So as the saying goes: The ball was in his court. Now, I thought he wouldnt call back but he called me back. We chatted etc I asked him how his trip went and if he had fun and also how the job interview went. He asked me how my weekend went etc We talked for 10 mins max. I asked him when he would be back near where I live and he said he will be back if he gets a 2nd interview next week (IF). I was like we should meet when hes back. Anyway, its been x2 days and I havent called or text nor has he. Maybe to begin with I came across a bit full on? So I thought maybe I should cool it so I'm not over whelming him or bombarding him. I might send him a random text this weekend and then call him sometime next week, so as to show I have an interest still in him but I dont want to be too clingy. Its taking alot to not text him but I'm perservering. Is this a good approach? I do like this guy and I mean he didnt have to call me back - he could of ignored my call. He didnt even have to tell me when he would next be back in town. If he wasnt interested he wouldnt have met me on all those occassions? more

For me I actually enjoyed The A-Team, because it was really funny (especially Murdock and Face!) and the fight scenes weren't too long or anything. Because i actually thought it would be all-action so wasn't looking forward to it but i was actually surprised on how good it was! And i didn't actually hate it, but i was very disappointed with The Sorcerer's Apprentice. The plot was good but the writing was bad, particularly at the start, and it wasn't funny like the A-Team, it was more stupid funny, tbh, more for like two years olds or something. Barely anyone was laughing in the cinema. So what about you? more

i have this weird snowy picture. the monitor is less than a month old. it has these bright dots that flash on the screen, i have it connected to my XBOX 360 via VGA HD cable. and it is plugged in tightly so im not sure what it is. it looks like the quality you see at the cinema/movie theater, i have my contrast at 85 and the RGB colours at 100, the picture was very nice and crisp until i turned it on to find this promblem. not to worry people, i have an E74 xbox error, it was the xbox's way of warning me that it was about to FU*K up!! -_- grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr more

Resolved Question: Home Entertainment System Question. Please Help?

I have a Samsung Home cinema system HT-Z220 (DVD Player and Surround Sound) and i previously had a samsung model LCD TV. I had no problem getting the surround sound to work through my previous telly so i could have surround sound on TV programmes sports and films etc that were showing on TV not to mention through my Playstation 3 when playing games or watching blu ray movies. However, my samsung TV broke and i bought an LG TV (Model LG 42LD450) to replace it. Now no matter what i try i cannot get my surround sound to play through the TV or my Playstation 3 and i can only work the surround sound when playing DVD's through the Home cinema system. Would anyone know what to try? Ive tried everything i can think of. Many thanks What info do you need? It would of been helpful if you would give 'a little more info' into the info you expect from me! more

I'm in the dreaded friend zone..only cause both of us think we're off limits to each other. (which is stupid but whatever) Neither of us is going to crack anytime soon and own up to liking the other. Voting Question: Why doesnt my boyfriend take me out?

We have been together for a year and a half now and in that time weve been out quite a few times, but only very few times has it been just me and him together, id say about 3 times hes taken me out just the two of us, every other time he will invite his friends, insist that they be there and if they dont...well we probably wont end up going anywhere. I beg him to take me out.... I dont even expect him to pay... I say ill pay for everything from peterol to drinks/meal/movie.. Whatever but its no use. I either have to drag him kicking and screaming, or which is most likley.. I just give up. I tell him my feelings about this so often, i get really upset sometimes. He says he doesnt understand what difference it makes if we go out with a bunch of his mates, or if its just the two of us. I try to explain.. But he still says he doesnt get it... We were supposed to go cinema tonight, i arranged it, he agreed, neither of us said anything about anyone else coming, but later found out that hed invited 4 of his mates..i asked him why we cant just go together, he said its more fun with a group and that its quite a 'manly' film that you would go and see with your mates... Hes only took me to the cinema alone twice, and we wernt even together the first time! I know he doesnt really enjoy going out but i do things for him that i dont really enjoy a hell of a lot of the time... We didnt even do anything for valentines day, or our year anniversary... I dont even usually offer for us to go out anymore, he pretty much always says no..unless he can bring a group of course. Its making me feel as though im the demanding one in this relationship always trying to force him into things. Hes a wonderful perfect guy in every other aspect and i love him so it just breaks my heart sometimes when he doesnt seem to make an effort to make me happy, even though he said he would try for me.. In order to play it, I must register the product and supply the software company with personal information including my name, address, home and work phone numbers, my occupation and Job title, business address and fax. only the name was mandatory but I don't see why they need any information from me at all. Resolved Question: Why am I so paranoid over this????

Whenever a mate of mine doesn't reply back on a txt, i keep thinking have i done something wrong, do they not want to txt me, etc, etc. I did find out the other day that one of my mates had no free txt so she couldn't txt me back, so that was ok, but its just that this paranoia is getting to me. and there is this other mate who when i txt her, her texts look very plain, and she doesn't put xs at the end of her texts anymore, its either she would rather not talk to me, or maybe she doesn't put Xs on any texts to other people anymore, like she has matured or something. And yesterday i asked her about her french exchange, she didn't reply back, then i left it a day and asked her to the cinema and she said yes, but when i asked her wat movie she wants to see, she didn't reply again. Then i keep thinking does she not want to speak to me, or is she saving her credit or free texts or wat? I dont think i did anything wrong to her! Also on facebook my mate put up a status saying "Feeling sick at the thought of going back to school!" and i commented saying "I don't wanna go back!" and two other mates liked it. At first i thought cool they liked my comment, but then i thought did they liked it because i just say i dont wanna go back either or did they liked it coz they rather if I DIDNT go back at all? Okay, well at school there is this boy called Jack that was like one of my best guy friends and we spoke heart to heart all the time. Is it wierd that we mainly just hang out in nice quiet spots by the river on bench or in parks alot and just talk and cuddle. I'm 15 and I'm helping to raise funds for SPCA as part of some competition. I've been raising funds for 2 months and all I've got is 2000++ (including the original $1600 seed funding). The competition's ending in a month and I want to make at least 5000. I feel really guilty because the spca people have been so helpful but the results are... dismal. btw I'm not from UK =) Is there any way to reach my target within a month?
